General Tab

The General tab allows us to edit the basic information of a project.

Fields available here:

Project ID: This is a number that uniquely identifies a project. It’s a read-only and auto-generated field (created the first time you save the project).
Token: This is the API token, which allows your application to access published data from Content Island. If it becomes compromised, you can regenerate it to invalidate the previous one.
Name: This is the project name. It’s a text field that can be edited.
Languages: This field allows you to select the languages supported by the project. You can choose one or multiple. It’s a required field. You can start with a single language (e.g., English or Spanish) and add more later.

When in edit mode, the available actions are:

Delete: Deletes the project. This is a potentially dangerous action, and a confirmation dialog is shown to prevent accidental deletion.
Edit: Puts the tab in edit mode, allowing you to modify the fields and displaying Save and Cancel buttons.
